“And, turning the cities of SODOM and GOMORRAH into ashes, condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample (example) unto those that afterward should live ungodly. (i.e. today’s homosexuals) And delivered just LOT, vexed with the FILTHY conversation (manner of life) of the WICKED. For that righteous man dwelling among them, in SEEING and HEARING, VEXED his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds. [2 Peter 2:6-8]
LOT, is without doubt the sorriest excuse for a Child of God in all the Bible, and yet he was deeply troubled and SICKENED by what he had to see and hear each day in the Sodomite Society he lived in the midst of. What does that say about the so many so-called Christians today that have no problem with living in the midst of the Sodomite Society of our day, and even look upon it as acceptable and normal?
2 Peter 2:1 warns us of the FALSE PROPHETS who will be among us, telling us Sodomy and other such evils are acceptable with the Lord. Always remember the Bible calls all such Preachers and Pastors,” FALSE Prophets”, and their teachings, “DAMNABLE (Destructive) HERESIES”. 2 Peter 2:4-9 tells us that God’s Judgment will be UNSPARING for ALL who Teach such evil in the Lord’s Church, as well as ALL who are so wicked as to believe and participate in such heresy and evil.
