THE HANDWRITING IS ON THE WALL – EMBRACING HOMOSEXUALITY MEANS THE END OF OUR NATION

TEXT: DANIEL 5:25-27
25 And this is the writing that was written, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin.
26 This is the interpretation of the thing: Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
27 Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

THE HANDWRITING IS ON THE WALL – EMBRACING HOMOSEXUALITY MEANS THE END OF OUR NATION

I believe most people in America use to agree with the Word of God, that homosexuality was repulsive and as low as a person could go. We no doubt understood that because we were a nation that had a clear understanding and appreciation for the Word of God, we were a God-Fearing Nation.

Today, the American people and even the Church in America has little understanding and even less appreciation for the Word of God and what was once looked upon as evil is now seen as a civil right and those who would dare hold to traditional values are seen as evil, unloving bigots and homophobic. America has now fallen so low that evil is now good and good is evil and unrighteous decrees from courts and law makers have become nothing more than the acts of our nation’s full and final rejection of the Lord and His Word.

When a nation embraces homosexuality as a civil right then from that moment on nothing can be considered as unacceptable, as sin and evil, except to hold to traditional values and to continue to reject those evils which the Bible calls sin. The enemies of the Lord will have essentially accomplished what Daniel’s foes did and that was to outlaw the Faith in Jehovah throughout the land. Those who were once seen as pillars and salt of our society will then be the criminals and societies rejects.

At that point in a nation everything which makes for a strong and God blessed nation will be taboo and even outlawed and replaced by moral corruption, unrighteous decrees and social ills which will eventually lead to a nation’s implosion and collapse, but even sooner, the nation will find that the many tragic warnings signs that the Lord has given to our nation to stop us from going in this direction will not just now be sporadic events, but they will become the constant Wrath of God abiding upon our nation.

No nation, no society, can long survive it’s rejection of righteousness and the helping hand of God, while at the same time inner moral rot increases and the clouds of God’s abiding Wrath that hovers over us continues to get darker and darker with each passing day we fail to repent and return to the Lord.

My friend, the handwriting is on the wall, and this is the writing that is written, “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN: MENE; GOD HAS NUMBERED THY KINGDOM, AND IT IS FINISHED. TEKEL; THOU ART WEIGHED IN THE BALANCES, AND ART FOUND WANTING and like Belshazzar, we are not able to read the righting on the wall.
We must have some Daniels that are able to interpret what the Lord is saying and doing in these final hours of our nation. Men who will refuse to compromise, men who can embolden and inspire others to do the same, men who can be used of the Lord to make ready millions of souls for His 2nd Coming.
