INTRODUCTION:

Jesus is now 30 years of age, (Luke 3:23) the time for His mission to begin has arrived, but before it can the prophesied ministry of His forerunner, preparing the way for His coming, must first take place.

As we have seen in our previous studies, John the Baptist has been confirmed as the forerunner of Christ, so now the time for his ministry as Jesus’ forerunner has also arrived. Luke 3 gives us the record of the Ministry of John the Baptist as he prepares the way for the coming of the lord.
