SHOULD THE CHURCH BE SEPARATED FROM THE STATE?

BringingAmericaBack
If our Nations moral and spiritual state were at a high level and our Politicians were righteous men and women whose politics reflected their goodness, no doubt the Church would be taking credit for our influence as being the primary cause for such. The Church then must also shoulder the majority of the blame for the moral and spiritual state of our nation being at such a low and for the godlessness we see in our political leadership. As much as many in the Church would like to believe Politics and Church should never be mixed, the reality is that they can never be separated, the state of our politics will always reflect the state of the Church, and if we would eagerly take the credit for the fruits of our influence we must be as willing to take the blame for the corruption that is the direct result of our lack of influence upon our culture. [Luke 34,35]

The main problem with our Nation is that the Church has allowed itself to become SPERATED from the society around us!! Our Founders certainly meant for the Church not to allow the State to influence and corrupt her,(in order to maintain her influence) but just as certainly, they meant, as does the Lord, for the Church to influence and purify the State and the Society in which we live and function.

One cannot fail to see as they read the Scripture, that every Prophet was a Patriot, calling their Nation back to the Lord in Hopes of being spared the Judgment of God. The only Hope for our Nation to escape the Lord’s Coming Judgment is that the CHURCH begin to Weep and Mourn in Repentance before the Lord because we have been so separated and so irrelevant to our Nation and of so little influence upon her for our Lord. The greatest catastrophe is not how godless America has become, and how little concern it has for the Church, but how godless the Church in America has become, and how little concern it has for America and her future.
