WHAT IS NOT BEING TALKED ABOUT. IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?

I often read posts about those who are rejoicing in what the Lord is doing in their local Church, and I am grateful to hear any and all good reports, but it seems to me that little if anything is ever said about what the Lord is doing through their Church, using them as Salt and Light to reach the lost for Jesus and saving our culture from the course of growing corruption that we are on.

Some how to me this seems self-centered. I want to ask my brothers the same question that David asked his brothers when they refused to fight the Giant Goliath; “IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?” [1Samuel 17:29] How can we not have a broken heart when we see Jesus continually mocked and reviled in our Nation? How can we not be broken hearted as we see generations that see Jesus as irrelevant to them in time and eternity? How can we not be broken hearted as we see the false gods of Islam, Mormonism, and other ism’s with more influence and respect than Christ? How can we not be broken hearted as we see perversion becoming normalized and even seen by many of our young people as preferred above traditional morals and values? How can we not be broken hearted as we SEE all of this leading us to the SEVERE JUDGMENT of GOD? How can we fail to see that there is a cause worth fighting for.

Maybe that is the trouble, we do not SEE the wickedness in us and around us. Maybe we don’t see that our Lord is Holy and Just and will not be Mocked. Maybe we do not see the Hand Writing On Wall that spells out for us that the Sure Judgment of the Lord is at the door. Maybe we are the Last Day, Luke Warm, Laodicean Church (Revelation 3:14-22) that “…knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and BLIND, and naked.” (Revelation 3:17) We had better see the Lord’s Warning and Admonition given to the Laodicean Church in Revelation 3:19 which tells us; “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; (the Lord is not all talk) be zealous, therefore and Repent!!!”

True Revival in the Church is the only answer for stopping the flood of evil that is sweeping our land. Revival is the only hope of winning Souls to Christ in great numbers. Revival in the Church in America could sweep millions into the Kingdom in a short period of time, numbers that we will never see in our life time at the rate this Laodicean Church is winning souls today. I am convinced that the Lord will never send Revival to a Church that does not care enough or is not bold enough to take a stand against the evil within our ranks or within our Nation. We must see that the first priority of the Church today must be REVIVAL. We must like Elijah of old (1 Kings 17,18), confront the idolatry and immorality among us and the forces of evil around us head on, whether they are the Political leaders as was Ahab and Jezebel, whether they are the false religionists as the prophets of Baal, or the apathetic, apostate Church as were the people of Israel. There will be no Revival until the Church first makes a DECLARATION OF WAR on Sin and a boldly confronts the forces of evil.
